Tipsy Taco and Tequila Bar in Margate City

Margaritas were way too sweet, salsa was way too salty. Service was good but pretty pricey for what it is. Definitely not authentic.

Place was uncomfortable because air was not working well. Food was good but not exceptional.

Tried Tipsy Taco for the second time this past week and almost a year after opening, they still can't make a good margarita even after specifying to the server how I like it. I just don't think the bar staff is very good here. However, the food was very good both times--from enchiladas to burritos it's solid Mexican food. Chips were alright a bit too thick and accompanying sauces although attractive were too spicy. This could be a great spot in Margate but I need a good margarita with Mexican food and they are not able to deliver.

Probably the worse Mexican food ever eaten. Food was lukewarm, BLAND and I had to ask for sour cream for tacos. The portion of meat in tacos was very, very small. For $10 .75, not worth it. Plus, beer which had to be gotten from next door restaurant wasn't cold. In addition, they were playing Puerto Rican salsa music, not authentic Mexican music.

Authentic Mexican food with real Mexican Cooks. Margaritas are very good, little bit pricey, but all you need is one or two

Decent gringo Mexican food.

Cons:1) air conditioning wasnt working when I went. Hopefully they fix2) Mexican fries- horrible. It's just fries with some onions and jalpenos3)magritas- First off there was no table menu for magritas, it was on a board that I couldnot see. Also, magritas was ok, nothing spectacular4) no free chips and salsaPros:1)Tacos- the tacos were really good. The steak and blackened mahi mahi was delicious2)Good Vibes

The food was great and the drinks were to die for. Bartender was extremely knowledgeable,and polite. Definitely will be back

Food is excellent. Margaritas​ even better.

Just not good. I get it.. we should lower the bar for restaurants at the shore, but this place was overpriced and the service (when we went) was just no good. We wouldn't go back.

Great place and people

Another hit by John Liccio! Only the freshest ingredients are used in the many margaritas offered daily and made by the great bar staff. The food is authentic and full of flavor. You can dine alfresco or in the beautiful bar and restaurant. Get the crab and mango guacamole!! You'll love it!!

no air conditionining. instead chose to keep windowns open for 4 customers- will NOT be back- cheated us on items not received such as salad and beverages-

Nothing knocked my socks off here. Average to average plus. Wouldn't NOT recommend it, just wouldn't be my first recommendation to anyone.

This establishment is currently evolved in a lawsuit because John liccio the owner sexually harasses his female employees this disgusting behavior should not be tolerated and this business should not be supported.

Overpriced and very average portion sizes. Would go there again for tequila shots, margaritas and nothing else. I do recommend the mango margaritas.

Aggressively bland.The beans taste like they literally came straight from the can - no seasoning. The "grilled pineapple & cilantro craft margarita" was just pineapple juice. Nothing "grilled" about it and they don't even muddle the cilantro to blend the taste in.For the prices they are charging, there is no excuse. Wouldn't go back. Wawa has more flavorful Mexican food.

Went and had the BEST experience ever. I've been to their other locations (both next door), but this was my first time. LOVED the service and the food. Highly recommend trying their authentic Mexican food and DELICIOUS margaritas. Their enchiladas with mole and loaded nachos are excellent!
